If the quotation marks contain an absolute path, the compiler only looks for the file at that location. For the final step of creating the executable for my multimedia project I have something like this in one of my CMakeFiles.txt add_executable(project a.cpp a.h) include 'myincludefile.h' this tells the compiler to look for the file in the same directory that contains the source file first, and then look in other locations specified by the build environment. ![]()
